TTS Supporting Pancreatic Cancer in Memory of Andre Mather

28 January 2021

The staff at TTS did not hesitate help raise funds in support of Pancreatic Cancer UK after one of their close contacts and friend died from this terrible disease.

Andre Mather, owner of Skid Steer North East was diagnosed in early October 2020 and lost his battle two months later.

The staff at TTS first met Andre when he worked with the Police carrying out their driver training. He then set up his own company doing B+E (Car & Trailer) training and used the TTS reversing area to carry out the training.  This was the start of many years working together and helping each other out whenever they could.

Allan McNaught, Head of Operation at TTS described Andre as “the ultimate professional, who had very high standards and also expected the same from others”, Allan also said “Andre was one of life’s really good guys and he will be sadly missed by his family and all of us at TTS”.

Following his diagnosis, Andre and his partner Lyn got married in November after having been engaged for over 10 years.  Andre will be so sadly missed by Lyn and all his many friends and work colleagues.
