This seminar will outline a series of key project management techniques.

Any leadership or management task could be viewed as a project.  Likewise, we may be involved in organisational activities which are project based.

Project management is both an art and a science and involves task orientated activities, people orientated activities and activities that help build and maintain a team.

The seminar looks at John Adair's Three-Circle Model of Leadership to provide a framework for discussions.

  • Stakeholder mapping
  • Building a project team
  • Establishing project viability (the DICE model)
  • Gantt charts
  • Risk management and risk register
  • Evaluation and review

Ideal for any team member involved in managing projects from initiation phase to completion. Helps people that regularly need to apply contingency strategies.

Outcome

Through attending this seminar, you will be able to apply basic project management techniques to successfully complete projects. You will also be able to successfully manage individuals and teams whilst ensuring that the task is never out of focus.
