LGV Driver Training Covering Categories: C1, (7.5 tonne) C (Rigid) C+E (Artic)

Content
  • Initial License application including forms and LGV medical
  • Theory Tests including access to online revision subscription. We will advise you on the best revision options and book your theory tests covering the Hazard Perception, Multi-choice Theory and CPC Case Study Tests.
  • Initial Assessment Drive to determine the best training plan for each individual driver.
  • Practical Training and tests. All conducted from our LGV Training centre with our own manoeuvring area and Mod 4 Practical Test delivered on site.
  • We can also offer a variety of other driver training courses including Vehicle Marshalling, Banksman, Refresher & Familiarisation vehicle training and many others delivered by our experienced instruction team.

B+E Car & Trailer

Content
  • To develop existing practical driving skills inc reversing and manoeuvring of a trailer
  • Refresh and develop theory knowledge including the highway code

Audience

This course is designed for those who have a car license who need to pull a trailer such as horse box, box trailer, small utility trailers for commercial or domestic use.

Outcome

  • Upgrade of driving license from Cat B to Cat B+E license category
  • Development of practical driving skills
  • Improved confidence as a driver

Fleet Driver Training and Risk Management of drivers and vehicle fleets

Content

Courses can be developed for on road training for individuals or classroom based for fleet managers and can include:

  • Manage work related road risk (WRRR)” 
  • Assessing risks on the road
  • Reinforce individual defensive driving techniques
  • Develop safe and fuel-efficient driving techniques
  • Developing a fleet risk management strategy

  • For employers and/or employees who drive as part of their work.
  • For those who drive their own vehicle for a work-related journey.
  • For those with responsibility for fleet management.
