What is an Transport and Warehousing Supervisor?
Transport and Warehouse Supervisors are responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods within a logistics environment. The role focuses on supervising teams, managing schedules, ensuring compliance with health & safety and transport regulations, and maintaining high levels of operational efficiency. Supervisors act as a link between management and operational staff, driving performance, improving processes, and delivering excellent service to customers.
Entry requirements
Employed in a transport, warehouse, or logistics role with supervisory or team leader responsibilities. GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above, or a willingness to achieve these during the apprenticeship.
