What is an Supply Chain Warehouse Operative?

Supply Chain Warehouse Operatives play a key role in the movement and storage of goods within a warehouse or distribution environment. The role focuses on receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching products while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety. Operatives support the wider supply chain by following stock control procedures, using warehouse systems and equipment, and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled on time and to specification.

Entry requirements

Employed in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain role. No prior qualifications are required. GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above, or a willingness to achieve these during the apprenticeship.
