What is Cat C+E (Class 1) Licence Training?​​​

Cat C plus E, also known as Class 1, is the licence required to drive articulated lorries and large goods vehicles that tow a trailer over seven hundred and fifty kilograms. These vehicles are widely used across national haulage, distribution, shipping, logistics and long distance transport.

​

This course provides thorough practical training in operating articulated vehicles, completing safe manoeuvres, managing trailer coupling and uncoupling and preparing for the official DVSA driving test. It is the highest level of HGV licence and offers access to a wide range of professional driving roles.
