What is D1 Minibus Licence Training?​​​

The D1 licence allows you to drive minibuses with between nine and sixteen passenger seats, with a maximum length of eight metres and a trailer up to seven hundred and fifty kilograms. This category is widely used by schools, charities, care providers, community transport groups, private hire companies and organisations that transport small groups of passengers.

This course provides comprehensive training in safe minibus operation, passenger awareness, manoeuvring, road driving, and the knowledge required to meet DVSA test standards. It is ideal for both professional and voluntary drivers who need formal minibus entitlement.
