What is an Improvement Practitioner?
Improvement Practitioners lead and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across business operations. The role focuses on analysing complex processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and quality enhancements, and implementing strategic solutions. Practitioners use data-driven approaches, project management, and leadership skills to influence teams, drive change, and embed a culture of operational excellence within the organisation.
Entry requirements
Employed in a business, manufacturing, or operational role with responsibility for leading or supporting improvement projects. Typically expected to have some experience in continuous improvement, management, or operational support. GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above, or a willingness to achieve these during the apprenticeship.
