What is an Business Administrator?

Business Administrators provide essential support to ensure the smooth and effective operation of an organisation. The role focuses on managing administrative systems, coordinating projects, supporting teams, and handling information with accuracy and professionalism. Business Administrators often act as a central point of contact, using strong organisational, communication, and digital skills to support business objectives across a range of departments. 

Entry requirements

Employed in an administrative, office, or business support role. Typically expected to have some experience in a workplace environment. GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above, or a willingness to achieve these during the apprenticeship.
